Most approaches to healthy eating dwell on calories, carbohydrates, fats, and proteins. The problem with these approaches is, that some people will thrive on a Vegan diet, while others do best with a more Paleo approach. Some people need lots of protein to sustain their energy and do best restricting their carbs, while others thrive with whole grains and don't need much protein. Furthermore, the "calorie-in, calorie-out" approach is antiquated and will not work -- you simply can not sustain counting calories long-term. Instead of creating lists of restrictions and good and bad foods, I will coach you to explore basic improvements and implement gradual changes during our work together. As these pieces accumulate, my clients find the changes collectively create a much larger impact than they originally expected. We work on what you want to improve within the circumstances of your unique situation.
